I’m posting this picture for a few reasons:
1. I like it
2. It reminds me of fall, which NYC is getting a preview of this week with random late August blustry weather. I think we can all agree the next few months are the best time to be in New York, I always feel like I’m in a Woody Allen movie.
3. Speaking of movies, this bench is next to the 91st Garden in Riverside Park. The garden is where Meg and Tom finally kiss in You’ve Got Mail. Being both a sucker for romantic comedies and the upper west side I always try to swing by when I’m in the neighborhood. It really is quite lovely up there and suprisingly quite, a fantastic place to sit on a bench and enjoy a good book.
4. And on the topic of books…I spotted someone sitting a few benches down reading the same book that I’m currently reading. Is there no better sense of camaraderie than spotting a stranger reading your book?!
