Have you been to Eataly yet? Mario Batali’s italian meca across from the Flatiron building is a site to behold. The most gorgeous italian products are peppered throughout the 5000 sf establishment, surrounded by in store dining (gelato, panini, pasta, you name it they’ve got it). The piece de resistance (at least for a wino like me) is the center store wine bar with standing tables, so very italian. In fact they are totally down with you carrying your wine glass through the store and drinking some vino while you shop. That’s a store i can get behind. This pic is from last weekend when two of my LA friends came to NYC for meetings and squeezed in a bit of girl bonding.
