They also previewed Pure Country, based on the mid ’90s movie featuring George Straight (how hot was he back then? *sigh*) Anyway, the lead guy sang Heartland, which was one of my favorites back in the day…being FROM the heartland and all. Rosie and I started singing along and one of the Times photographers started snapping away. I’m going to have to see if our shot gets picked up. I knew my love of country music would lead to something ;)
