The Twin Towers on 9/10/01

I watched about 10 min of the reading of the names this AM before bursting into tears and turning off the TV. I know we must not forget, but I wonder if a yearly memorial is healthy for the grieving family members. They have to relive that terrible day every year. I personally feel that instead of memorializing someone on the day they died it’s far better to celebrate their life on their birthday each year. But I suppose grief is a tricky thing and each person deals with it differently. Anyway, I know all Americans are reflecting today and thought this pictorial was really interesting.
