My dear friend Erika has injured herself and is waiting to get word from her Dr. if she’ll be able to participate in this year’s NYC Marathon. Erika is such an inspiration, for as long as I’ve known her she’s talked about running a marathon. And this past year, she did just that in San Francisco. I was so proud of her for accomplishing such an incredible goal…because I can attest to the fact that she wasn’t much of a runner before she started training. She has worked so hard to gear up for her next marathon, so let’s all wish her a speedy recovery. And even if NYC isn’t in the cards this year, hoping to be there to cheer her on next year!
