So I’m bringing my british boyfriend home with me to Dallas for Thanksgiving. I just got off the phone with my mother and the following conversation took place:
Me: I want to take Ben for some Texas BBQ and Mexican food while we’re in town.
Mom: Don’t worry about a thing, all the arrangements have been made.
Oh god Ben, my family is on the case to show you some real southern hospitality. God knows what all has been organized. He’s about to meet the real cruise director of the family.
