Crazy Loves Company

I am a 30something single gal living in NYC. This site is a curation of things I love (marketing, travel, shopping, pop culture and photography) with a bit of my life sprinkled in the mix. I hope you find something that piques your interest.

Feel free to drop me a line at stacykfuller@gmail.com.

On Saturday my friend Jono decided to take me out on the town for a day of Stacy. We ran around the city and did all kinds of fun things, with the catch being that they all had to be new experiences for us. On the agenda you ask…
Stop #1: Brunch at Veselka, a Ukrainian joint in the east village. The menu was fantastic with all kinds of comfort food. The eggs & grits were amazing.
Spot #2: Leica photography gallery in SoHo. It’s free and fabulous and only takes about 30 minutes. ps- divine books currently on discount, perfect xmas gifts
Spot #3: Bond Perfume on Bond St. You all know my love of the Bond brand, but this is my favorite outlet. Not only is it the flagship store, but the sales staff knows me and always hook me up. Diana is my girl. Stop in and say Stacy sent you ;) The team there always take an unbelievable amount of time to help you find just the right scent and fortunately Jono found a delicious new cologne.
Spot #4: A cheeky stroll through the new SoHo outpost of Babeland. The place is so beautifully done you almost forget you’re browsing in a sex store. NSFW (but educational and good for a mid day giggle)
Spot #5: Time for a wine break (we had recovered from all the champagne consumed at The Sloane’s dinner party the night before). A few glasses of red at Cafe Noir. We didn’t eat, but sat at the bar and watched a man try his damndest to pick up two girls. I feel for the man, but it was entertaining for us.
Spot #6: Dinner in DUMBO at Superfine. Met two of Jono’s friends, Carla and Chris, who are the loveliest couple. I adored hearing the story of how they met…he in Australia, she in LA, both working for the same company and only talking on the phone. Started to fall for each other, without ever meeting face to face (or even seeing a picture of each other) decided to go on vacation together to Thailand. Fell in love during that two week trip. He comes to LA for christmas a few weeks later, a few weeks after that she moves to Sydney to be with him. Now they’re married and building a life together in New York.
So that was my Saturday. Such a fun way to while away a fall day in the city. Thanks to Jono for being my partner in crime.
