I know I’ve been tight lipped about this cancer thing, but thought I’d share that it’s actually my mom Patsy that has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Her surgery is scheduled for next Wednesday. Please keep her in your thoughts in the coming weeks!
I want to mention the Susan G. Komen website for being a fantastic resource to answer a lot of the questions I had after hearing the diagnosis.
I’ll keep you all updated on any big developments. But for now we’re just keeping a positive attitude and planning for her recovery.
Thanks to everyone who has been so supportive to myself and my family. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives.
