So my electric wine opener was one of my favorite xmas presents last year. I always get a kick out of using it during parties…however tonight a woman from Paris that has swapped houses (a la “The Holiday”) with my next door neighbor for a week stopped by to borrow a “cork screw”. When I whipped out my trusty electric friend she exclaimed, “oh my, that’s so American”.
