I’m terrible at new year’s resolutions, but I have managed to keep one that I made a few years back. I resolved to travel to one new place every year. In fact, that little ol’ resolution worked so well that I’ve been going to several new places each year (and traveling as much as I can afford). I realized that the happiest I am is when I’m planning for and exploring a new local. In fact, I’m headed to Mexico in a few days for a quick jaunt thanks to a very generous friend’s generous father who is lending us a crash pad. Now I’ve been to Mexico several times (once for Spring Break ‘97 which is a bit of a blur), but never to Isla Mujeres. So excited to soak up the sun with a few of my favorite people.
