Last night I had the pleasure of attending Vanity Fair and USA Network Character Approved Awards. Let me just say that it was basically awesome. Not only was it held at the Frank Gehry designed IAC building (which I have been dying to check out), but all the actors from the USA Network shows were there. I’ve become a bit addicted to Royal Pains and White Collar, so I was over the moon to hob nob with these folks in their natural habitat. Of note, I had a bit of an eye contact and smile moment at the bar with the hottie from White Collar (I know the word is he’s gay, but just so perfectly charming and adorable…a girl can dream right?) AND I had an actual conversation with the one, the only, Tiffany Amber Thiessen. For a girl who grew up with Saved By the Bell, this was seriosly a dream come true…a chat with Kelly Kapowski, I about died. She couldn’t have been sweeter and absolutley stunning. Two other sightings I got excited about…Nora Ephron, wish I could climb inside her head and completely random, but the killer from Harper’s Island.
All in all, a great night. Thanks to Colin for inviting me along, fantastic architecture, Vueve Clicquot, and celebs…what more could a gal ask for?
