Scary Movies, my top 5
Killers, zombies, vampires…yeah, they might be scary, but I can handle it. However, if there is a ghost involved at all, I’m headed for the door. Movies that are about a haunting really freak me out, so in honor of halloween I give you my top 5:
1. Stir of Echos (If this movie is on I have to hurry and flip the channel, if I watch any part of it I’ll have a nightmare)
2. The Shining (my sick family loves to stay at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park…which was the inspiration for the Shining. They play the movie on the in room channel 24 hrs a day)

3. Children of the Corn (we used to play hide and seek in corn fields after watching this movie in junior high. totally mental)
4. Watcher in the Woods (this movie scared the shit out of me when I was 10 and I watched it with my niece recently and it scared the shit out of her too. Pretty good for a Disney “horror” movie)
5. Amityville Horror (again, my crazy family actually hunted this house down in long island)
