I know this sounds nuts, but I have always wanted to spend New Year’s in Times Square. Alas, I can never get anyone to suffer through the crowds with me. For the first time ever I’m having a very low key New Year’s. I’m spending it with my family in Dallas and my brother the chef is cooking a 4 course dinner. I’m really looking forward to a nice evening in with no forced gaiety and no big crowds. And tomorrow I’m going to be up bright and early to cheer on the Huskers in the Gator Bowl.
