As you might remember, my cousin Sally graduated from RPI over Memorial Weekend. Since it was a holiday weekend we decided to make a mini vacation out of it and stay in Saratoga Springs. I’d been to this quaint little town a few years ago and fell in love. Such a great option if you’re looking for a nice relaxing stay upstate.
Some of our highlights:
Our fab hotel, the Adelphi (pictured). Built in 1877, you really feel the history of the town. The back garden is magical.
Tracking down all the Springs around town (get a map from the visitor’s center)
Spa State Park
Driving down broadway to check out the stately homes
Lunch at Hattie’s (check to see if there’s live music in the alley next door)
Congress Park (the carousel is hand carved from 1910)
