Excellent recap from GuestofaGuest on Escape2NY. I’m so proud of my boss for putting on a kick ass “happening”, which is what we’re calling it since a concert really doesn’t describe all the incredible things peppered throughout the area. From the incredible food options (Pizza Moto, Fat Radish, etc) to kick ass shopping stalls to a rave tent to one of the coolest after parties I’ve been to in awhile (burlesque performers, roving brass band, Eric from True Blood- yes I accosted him, yes he thought I was a crazed stalker fan). I put together a motley crew of coworkers and friends to attend with me and even put us all under one roof for the weekend, but everything clicked, people got on, new friendships were formed and we all walked away claiming the weekend as one of the best of the summer.
