So I’m bringing my british boyfriend home with me to Dallas for Thanksgiving. I just got off the phone with my mother and the following conversation took place:

Me: I want to take Ben for some Texas BBQ and Mexican food while we’re in town.

Mom: Don’t worry about a thing, all the arrangements have been made.

Oh god Ben, my family is on the case to show you some real southern hospitality. God knows what all has been organized. He’s about to meet the real cruise director of the family.

J/K, but I did figure out how to register my tumblr as stacykfuller.com. So now instead of having to remember not-a-stacist.tumblr.com, you can just type in my name. Well actually stacyfuller.com is taken by some graphic designer (BOO!). Now if only I could knock off stacy l. fuller as the top result on google I’ll be a happy camper.

I am currently at Mount Sinai Hospital waiting on my friend to come out of recovery from surgery. My job is to shepard him home safely. This is my handy beeper that alerts me when he’s good to go. I discovered the epicurious iPhone app last night and immediately started playing. Loved the fact I could search by season (I choose Fall Pasta) and stumbled across a very simple roasted tomato recipe. A great way to end the week.

ps- one complaint is that the “add to shopping list” should let me unselect the ingredients I already own so I know exactly what I need to get when I hit the store. Oh and if they could link directly to a fresh direct or a max delivery, well I would be over the moon.

I watched Broken English again this weekend (it’s available for instant view on netflix, fyi). I saw it in the theatre when it was first released and forgot how amazing it is. It’s the quintessential single girl in NYC film, told in a raw and honest way…not from Carrie Bradshaw’s POV.
